Zumbani in Zulu

Zumbani in isiZulu and Ndebele is known as Umsuzwane. Zumbani is scientifically known as Lippia Javanica. It is traditionally known as the fever tea.  

Umsuzwane is used for it’s medicinal properties. Traditionally used as a remedy for high temperatures, as an analgesic hence the fever tea. Its known to treat insect bites, ringworms, all kinds of insect related infestations of the skin or parasitic infections of the skin and lesions, scabies.

It is natural herb that grows on its own and can be consumed in its natural form as tea or used for steaming.
